They are the creation of anger, loneliness, and neglect. The victims of so, are searching for a battlefield to have a sense of recognition. Since they cannot find this attention at home, they reign their power over where the weak and undeveloped are ample: school.
This quote relates to the ASTI constitution because it states that bullies have a reason for doing certain things to other people for their sole purpose of making themselves feel better. Our very first rule on the ASTI constitution is that we should always think before we speak or act. A bully does not think before they speak and they most certainly do not feel any remorse for any of the things they have done to hurt other people. Another one of our rules is to accept others for who they are. Bullies “they are the creation of anger, loneliness, and neglect,” and for that reason, they will judge a person without getting to know them first. They build up this sort of sense of loneliness and neglect in their victims because they feel as if they are not accepted by their peers. At last, another ASTI constitution rule is to understand where other people are coming from and to be empathetic. This quote states that when a victim of being a bully cannot find any more of this sort of attention elsewhere, they will direct all their rage and anger towards the people who they believe are weak. A bully is searching for attention and for that reason, they pick on “weak” students to get the attention of being “that mean kid” at school. A bully must learn to be empathetic to the people that they tease, make fun of and harass. A bully might not even realize that for the victim of their bullying, they might have other stuff that they must deal with outside of school.
